What's new and what's been fixed around the tavern, newest first.
Tidier comment threads and safer passwords
Busy comment threads now show the newest ten comments with a "Show earlier" button to read back through the rest, on the bulletin board, game nights, sessions and tales alike. On the security side, changing your password now signs you out everywhere else, so any device you forgot about loses access straight away. Changing your password also always works now, even if an admin has asked you to pick a new username.
Faster pages everywhere
Long lists across the site, including events, the bulletin board, tales, tables, members, the library and the shop, are now split into pages with quick search and filters, so nothing takes an age to load as the club grows. Moving between pages happens smoothly without the whole screen reloading. The sidebar can now be collapsed to give you more room, the About Us page can be kept up to date by our admins, and the info pages are linked straight from the sidebar.
Tales search, plus stronger moderation tools
Finding a story is easier: the Tales page now has an instant search by title or author, and when writing a tale the "related table" picker only shows tables you actually belong to. Game nights without a banner now glow in their calendar colour on the nights list, so red weeks look red and blue weeks look blue. Behind the scenes, admins have a much better member roster and new tools to deal politely but firmly with inappropriate usernames or avatars, which helps keep the club welcoming for everyone.
A big batch of polish, mostly for phones
Lots of small quality-of-life fixes in one go:
You can now search the Game Tables page to find a table quickly.
Replying to a comment is clearer, with a Cancel button and a "Replying to" hint, and @mentions now notify people whose usernames contain spaces.
You can report a member from their profile if something is amiss, and admins can deal with it from there.
The notifications bell has a "Dismiss all" button.
Library suggestions, game night pages, member requests and profile editing all sit better on small screens.
Info pages look right again
Tables of information on the Info pages (club rules, FAQ and friends) were showing up as jumbled text. They now display properly with tidy borders in both dark and parchment modes, and our editors can include pictures on those pages too.
Clearer library labels and a fixed Save button
In the library, a borrow request you cancelled yourself used to show as "Withdrawn", which read like you had the item out. It now says "Request Cancelled". We also fixed the Save button on the Info pages, which was doing nothing when our editors tried to update club rules and FAQs.
Better bug reports and small tidy-ups
When you report a bug, the automatic screenshot now captures exactly what you were looking at, instead of a stretched picture of the whole page. You can also now see who reacted to a bulletin board notice, and we fixed a few small blemishes on mobile, including footer text hiding behind the bottom navigation bar.
Approved table requests now actually create the table
If you asked to start a new table and an admin approved it, the table quietly failed to appear. That is fixed: approval now creates your table straight away, seats you as its Dungeon Master, and gives you the DM tools to run it.
More privacy for members
We have finished a privacy sweep so that people browsing the site without an account can no longer see who plays where. Table rosters, attendance lists and the names of people who liked a story are now visible to signed-in members only. Visitors still see the headline numbers, like how many adventurers are seated at a table, just not the names behind them.
Behind-the-scenes improvements
Some housekeeping to help us build and check new features faster. Nothing changes on the site itself.
