1. Welcome to the Tavern
Cork D&D is a hobby project built for the local tabletop gaming community. By using this site, you're agreeing to be a good sport and follow these basic rules.
The club is for adults. You must be 18 or older to have an account — you confirm this when you sign up. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we'll close it.
2. Community Conduct
We're here to play games and have fun. Please don't use the bulletin boards, stories, table comments, or chat to harass others, post illegal content, or spam the community. We reserve the right to remove any content or accounts that make the tavern a less friendly place.
3. Chat Rules & Reporting
The live chat follows the same conduct rules as the rest of the site, and a few of its own — you'll see them the first time you open chat. Remember that chat is not private: club organisers can access all messages, including direct messages, for moderation.
Reporting: any message can be reported from its ⋯ menu — including as illegal content. Reports go to the club organisers, who review them and take action where needed, and you'll be told the outcome of your report.
4. Moderation & Appeals
When the rules are broken, organisers can remove messages or content, mute or remove someone from a chat channel, ban someone from chat, or suspend an account. Whenever we take one of these actions against you, we'll tell you what was done and why.
If you think a decision was wrong, just say so — reply to the notice or contact an admin (through the site or in person at a club night) and we'll take another look. We're a small club, not a faceless platform; a human will always review it.
Serious or repeated rule-breaking can lead to your account being terminated.
5. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. If you use Google to sign in, their terms apply to that account.
6. Shop, Raffles & Payments
Merchandise and raffle tickets are sold through the club's shop on Shopify. Payment happens on Shopify's own checkout, so this site never sees or stores your card details. Raffle tickets you buy there are credited to your account here, and are for members aged 18 or over. We're a community-run club, not a retailer: if there's a problem with an order, tell the organisers through the contact page and we'll sort it out.
7. Availability & Liability
We run and maintain this site with care, but it is a volunteer-run community service, not a commercial product. We can't promise it will be online 100% of the time, and the club isn't liable for outages, lost data, or a missed reminder or notification. If an outage affects a game night, the organisers will let members know another way.
