Frequently Asked Questions

I'm brand new — can I still join?

Absolutely. No experience needed. Most of our tables are beginner-friendly, and our DMs are happy to teach the ropes.

Do I need to own any books?

No. You can borrow rulebooks and dice from our lending library. All you really need to bring is yourself.

How much does it cost?

Membership is free. Some ticketed events have a small charge to cover the venue.

How do I find a game?

Browse the Tables and Game Nights pages, RSVP to anything that takes your fancy, and turn up. That's it! If you can't find any open games for the night you're looking to attend, please do get in touch and we will do our best to find you a table on the night.

What’s the difference between a Game Night, a Table, and a Session?

  • Game Night: The overall event. This is the scheduled evening when the club meets up at our venue.
  • Table: The specific group of players and Dungeon Master (DM) playing a particular adventure, campaign, or one-shot.
  • Session: A single play-through or individual episode of a campaign that takes place at a Table during a Game Night.
