Session 8 The Delian Tomb @ Blue Tuesday

The heroes crossed the lake to the bandits' island fort and found the sentry — Skewra — passed out drunk in the reeds. They got the drop on her and instead of cutting her like a fish they cutted her for information. They found out that the bandits were not a hegemony. They learned they could use Thurson to rally people against Aldiva. With some striping of clothes and some tasteful bandana placement, the party walked right into the fort. The Harlequin Mask taking on the appearance of Skewra to escort the party directly to Thurson.

Inside, Second-in-command Thurston had no love for his boss, and the heroes worked that seam — negotiating him into pulling most of the camp off the island so they could catch Aldiva with her guard down. It worked: she was left with just her bodyguard Laesi and a thin handful of loyalists.

The party fell on Aldiva and her bodyguards and beat the crap out of them. The bandit chief who was sure her reign would never end went down hard.
